Found An Injured Badger?

While cute, badgers can be dangerous if not handled by a trained professional. They can bite and claws can cause injuries. What to do if you find an injured badger?

If the badger is dead, contact your council for pickup and report the death on the Badger Trust website.

If the badger is alive do not handle. Note the location using dropped pins on Maps or use What-Three-Words and contact your closest wildlife rescue or badger group.

24hr Emergency Numbers for the SWBG: 07850946538 / 07395422756 FOR INJURED OR TRAPPED BADGERS AND ABANDONED CUBS ONLY

Do not put an unconscious badger in your car. When wild animals regain consciousness they can be quite active and dangerous.
